Le Gracieux desires to make your design exploration as obstacle-free as possible. To that end, below are answers to questions we hear frequently. The le gracieux textile line is hand produced and we highly recommend either ‘spot’ or ‘dry cleaning’ only in order to maintain the vibrancy and ‘hand’ of the fabric.
Stain Treatment is available upon request as a protection option for finished yardage. Quote will be provided upon request.
Yes, our color matching is typically achieved within 5-8% of the control sample. Hemp/Flax Linen is a beautiful natural ground. The natural color varies with each lot milled, depending on the season, conditions of growth and harvest. We do our best to adjust hues and tones to compensate for this though it should be noted to the client that there will be color variations in the natural grounds.
Custom Color orders are welcome and quoted on an individual basis. A control sample to match, a $350 strike off fee and a deposit of 50% is required to activate a custom color order. There is a 15% up charge and 20 yd minimum for all custom color requests.
Custom Pattern orders are welcome and quoted on an individual basis. Strike off fees and set up charges will be determined at time of inquiry. Cost per yard will be based on custom processing requirements and grounds preferred.
There is a twenty (20) yard minimum for custom pattern requests.
Custom orders may not be canceled and will not be refunded.
All custom production orders will be produced as closely as possible to the client's control sample and a CFA will be sent. If the CFA cannot be approved, an additional CFA will be produced within two (2) weeks from client request.
There is a 4 yard minimum on all fabrics, unless otherwise noted. Fabric is sold in one-yard increments only; we do not sell in half or quarter yard increments. A cut fee of $45 is required on any order less than 4 yards and any order request of less than a full yard increment.
le gracieux handles most of our printing and dyeing in house. All of the work is done by hand, to order and for available inventory. This allows us to offer a product that is very unique while still managing a short lead time per industry standard, anywhere between 4 - 8 weeks. When an order is placed and accompanied by a deposit of 50% to the Showroom with a CONTROL SAMPLE, provided by the client and sent to our facility, the job is put into production for printing, dyeing and finish processing. Upon completion a cutting is sent for the customer's approval. When the customer's approval is received in writing, along with confirmation of final payment to the Showroom, the order is shipped.
